Artist residencies at

the I Promise School

Curated Storefront’s Artist Residency Program creates a platform for the students and teachers of I Promise School to engage in unique and innovative collaborations with regional, national, and international artists. The program introduces a diverse selection of classic and modern art forms with accompanying activities that allow students to discover ways to think “outside the box”, benefit from the beauty of creating together, and grow their own appreciation for the arts.

Theron Brown - program Coordinator

“When a child discovers their ‘gift’, they have found their empowerment. It’s up to us to make sure there are no barriers in the path of their discovery. Once they’ve discovered their gift, we have to make sure we don’t become a barrier.”

Thank you to The Maynard Family Foundation and The Sisler Mcfawn Foundation for helping to support this program!
