Outside the Box

Outside the Box is a Series of up-cycled shipping containers that have been transformed into mobile art galleries and performance spaces with eye-catching Murals by artists from around the world.

The inside of each shipping container is programmed with pop-up galleries while the outside is set up to accommodate murals that can be changed out when new artwork is desired. Outside the Box allows work by national and international artists to ignite creativity by exposing the community to art that is not typical to Akron.

Outside the Box is open 24/7 located at TrueNorth Akron, in the Northside District, 110 North Main Street.

Special thanks to those who made this exhibition space possible including Michael Owen of TrueNorth Akron, the Northside District neighbors, and our many funders.
