Inside at Outside the box - Summer exhibits 2024

Early in 2024, artists were selected through an open call process to create four site-specific installations inside the shipping containers at Outside the Box! Jesse Satterfield and Kirstin Willders kicked it off in June 2024 with two exhibits.
Satterfield's installation, Oh Susannah! A Carpet Quilt For Grandma Sue and You, features a wall-to-wall-to-ceiling quilt constructed of hand-tufted carpet squares that recreates a relationship between the artist, family, and memory. In Water Won't Run Straight, Willders has created an immersive experience, with visual, aural, and tactile stimuli to explore aspects of the self. The exhibitions will be on display through August 24.
Rachel Ferber, Jess Fijalkovich, and Chris Harvey continue this exciting project with two installations in the fall, August 26 through November 2.
