ABOUT THE artist
As part of Curated Storefront’s digital art project, PixElation, every window of the building is populated with a number of VX Series digital tiles featuring several works by Kasumi: Emergence, Ephemeral Devices, Illuminated Rhythm, Psychotomimetic Afternoon, Spectral Mandala, and The Enigma Machine.
Kasumi works in a broad range of media, directing and producing short and feature length experimental films, performing live shows as a VJ, creating looping electronic sculptures, designing motion graphics and animated gifs, producing immersive 360 virtual reality pieces, and making fine art prints and wearable art through glitch and data moshing.
